Sex Therapy

About Sex Therapy

Nerida is passionate about the field of sex therapy and believes that every person has the right to a fulfilling and satisfying sex life. Nerida also recognizes that intimacy is a core component of a relationship and an individual’s wellbeing.

Intimacy issues are very common, though seldom talked about. Nerida recognizes that seeking help for a sexual concern is particularly difficult. As a Clinical Psychologist and Sex Therapist, Nerida is comfortable and experienced in working within the fields of sex and relationship therapy. Nerida can help you understand the reasons behind your sexual concerns and your partner’s sexual needs. Nerida uses an integrative approach where she addresses intimacy as well as the overall relationship, as she recognizes that sexual issues often coincide with relationship problems.

What can you expect

Nerida begins all treatment with a clinical interview where she collects information about your family background, mental and physical health, relationship history, and affection and intimacy. She is skilled at creating a comfortable environment where clients can openly talk about sex. Nerida works with clients to set goals for what they would like to improve about their sex life, before designing a treatment plan specific to your needs. Nerida provides information about sexuality and evidence based treatment strategies clients can use to create a more satisfying sex life.
